Station End Equipment
Critico’s Next-Generation Station-End Equipment (SEE) Solution for Fire & Rescue Services
In a world where rapid, reliable communication can make all the difference, Critico’s SEE solution empowers Fire & Rescue Services with unmatched resilience, flexibility, and control in their mobilisation strategies. Read about our recent tender win here.
By combining advanced Swissphone technology with Critico’s robust multi-channel messaging, FRS’s can achieve unparalleled regional coverage, efficient resource management, and real-time responsiveness. Designed to adapt to station-specific needs and fully integrate with CAD systems, Critico’s SEE solution provides a seamless, future-ready platform for the evolving demands of emergency response. and deliver critical, life-saving support where it matters most.
Our SEE solution also integrates with Critico’s multi-channel critical messaging services, providing a high-resilience alerting service allowing FRS’s to customise their communication channels based on station-specific needs or user groups. Each FRS can deploy their own mix of channels and devices – from traditional alerters to two-way pagers, SMS, and apps – tailored to their own operational requirements.
What’s new?
Critico’s new SEE solution incorporates advanced network management and control to deliver a regional simulcast paging network providing greater alerting capability and flexibility across the Joint Service area.
A unique POCSAG fall-back capability delivers enhanced resilience with the local SEE transmitters themselves able to auto-switch to acting an inter-site communication bearer in the event primary WAN connections are interrupted.
Our multi-channel support means Fire Services can leverage the enhanced capabilities of two-way paging and app messaging, knowing who is responding or available to co-ordinate a more effective incident response.
Closing the loop
Many FRS’s are choosing to ‘close the loop’ with two-way alerting (via two-way pagers or apps) to provide real-time delivery and response acknowledgment back to the CAD system, to help manage response and resources more effectively. And to improve alerting throughput and Critico’s triple-resilience Responder two-way pagers ensure critical alerts are received via a) the local station paging transmitter, b) Critico’s national paging network, and c) the GSM mobile networks, with our platform handling transmissions, responses, and feedback for seamless integration with CAD systems.
