Our Commitment to Carbon Reduction
At Critico, we take our responsibility to the environment seriously and are committed to achieving Net Zero emissions by 2045, with an ultimate goal of Net Zero by 2050.
Key Actions and Goals
Reducing Emissions: We’re targeting all areas of our carbon footprint, from energy use in our office to employee commuting and our supply chain operations.
Energy Efficiency: During the last reporting year, we have moved to a smaller office (which included LED lighting) and we expect to see energy efficiencies over the forthcoming year. We will continue to raise awareness amongst staff to adopt energy-saving practices.
Sustainable Travel: Initiatives like green commuting policies, reducing business flights, and implementing a travel policy favouring lower-carbon options will help lower transportation emissions.
Recycling and Waste Management: Recycling stations in our office and consolidated delivery actions are part of our waste reduction strategy.
Vehicle Transition: We’re working toward converting our company fleet to electric vehicles.
Renewable Energy: We aim to switch to 100% renewable energy sources for our operations.
Progress and Targets
Our baseline year (2023–2024) helps us measure and track our impact.
We’ve committed to reducing our Business-As-Usual emissions by 19% over the next five years and will continue to review and improve our plans.
