We are pleased to confirm the award of a major contract to deliver critical paging services across four Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust hospital sites. The contract will replace the incumbent’s legacy one way, ‘send and hope’ Bleeps with our modern 2-way paging solution, delivering coverage across our National Paging Network, Critico’s on-site networks and across GSM networks. The solution is tailored to the Healthcare sector and affirms our dedication to providing resilient, innovative multi-channel critical communications.
The project began with comprehensive on-site surveys conducted across all four locations, ensuring a deep understanding of the unique challenges and requirements at each hospital. These detailed assessments formed the foundation for designing and deploying Critico’s advanced Bridge, 2-way alerting solution.
By combining dual-frequency paging, GSM-based triple resilience, and secure mobile messaging, Bridge offers Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust a robust and future-proof platform for critical and operational alerting. This next-generation system replaces the limitations of traditional paging with features like real-time delivery and read receipts, responses from the devices and full audit trails.
Critico’s solution delivers unrivalled reliability, leveraging multiple networks using a single device, ensuring critical messages are received even during local network outages – no more single points of failure. With the ability to integrate seamlessly with existing systems, Bridge reduces infrastructure costs significantly whilst enhancing communication efficiency.
This milestone contract highlights Critico’s capability to transform Healthcare communication through innovative solutions and a commitment to understanding and addressing customer needs from the ground up.
